Radio buoy Auto Charger

Applicability to: this charger is appropriate for rechargeable batteries on Radio buoys
Features:
1. Output short-circuit protection: output will be cut off if there is a short-circuit, preventing damage from excessive power consumption due to a long duration short-circuit.
2. Output over-current protection: when output current is overloaded, output is automatically limited, for current protection.
3. Battery polarity reversal protection: power output from the charger will be cut off when battery polarity is reversed, to protect the charger and battery from damage.
4. Smart thermal control protection: when the environmental temperature or charger temperature is too high (around 50℃), the charger will self-adjust the charging current to maintain the lifespan of the charger and battery.
5. Over-charge protection: constant voltage output for limited power charging, improving charge efficiency and preventing the battery from being over-charged.
6. International voltage design: AC100V-240V acceptable.
7. Current detection for charging: precise indicator to allow error detection, improving battery efficiency.
8. Constant/ Floating charge speed design: automatically determine whether constant or floating battery recharging is required.

Features

Instructions
1. Plug the input power cable into the socket (voltages 110v~220V are acceptable), and turn on the power switch. Red LED should be solid, LCD indicator will display NORMAL. CHARG’G text will flash every five seconds and the battery indicator shows as full.
2. Plug the output line into the rechargeable battery; the charging indicator will turn from green to yellow - this means a constant recharge is in progress and LCDBATTERY will display CHARG''G text flashing rapidly. When the battery is charged to around 90% it will begin a floating recharge. The indicator LCD will become green and NORMAL text will display CHARG’G flashing slowing down.
3. When in constant recharging, the fan speed will increase; when in floating recharging, the fan will spin slowly or stop completely.

Note:
1. Our charger is designed specifically for recharging of the rechargeable battery on Radio buoys with battery specifications (ABC-1808A) and (ABC-2408A) and cannot recharge other batteries.
2. When the battery is being charged for a long period of time and the indicator LED does not turn green, this means the battery may be deteriorating or faulty; please replace the battery.
